 Discover the charming “Tavira Townhouse” - a true historical gem. It is a spacious house, connected from south to north by a corridor that leads through the thick, old city wall. A wonderful garden with fruit trees also awaits you. And a roof terrace that offers a picturesque view of the old town, the city walls, the Castelo, and the pousada. This charming 90 m² house has 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower), and a cozy living room with an adjoining kitchen area. And a practical office space with WiFi.

You live very “privately” and quietly in the Tavira Townhouse. The area of ​​the house and the area of ​​the garden and roof terrace are each around 90 square meters - so a space of a total of 180 square meters (!) can be used here.

 

Tavira invites you to explore its wonders. The city is the "cultural capital" of the Algarve and there are practically ALWAYS markets, exhibitions, and music events taking place. It is a charming, lively, medieval city that captivates everyone. The restaurant mile adjoins the central Roman bridge. Then the old market hall, the city square where live music and cultural events often take place.

Directly behind the old market hall, the ferry boats and water taxis go to various parts of the beach. This is always a wonderful tour through the saltpan landscape. Because Tavira is surrounded by wonderful nature!

In front of the beach area, there is also "Quadro-Aguas", another area with a small pleasure boat harbor where many sailors are active. There are other small sections of beach in the surrounding area that can be reached by bike, boat, or car.

Bedroom 1 is located in the front part/southwest of the house - window facing west.

Bedroom 2 is the Buddha room, in the middle of the house, without windows, built against the city wall and therefore very quiet and well insulated.

Bedroom 3 is in the “bungalow part”, behind the living room, window facing northeast.

Both bathrooms are simply furnished and have new bathroom furniture. Bathroom 1 is located outside, right next to the kitchen door to the garden, between the kitchen and the terrace. It has a walk-in shower, toilet, and hot water sink with a hairdryer, mirror, and cupboards.

There is also another outdoor shower (in the terrace/garden area) for refreshment.

Bathroom 2 (small) is between bedrooms 2 and 3. It has a hot shower but only cold water at the sink. It also has a closet and a toilet. The kitchen was newly installed in 2017 and has a 4-burner ceramic stove. The kitchen consists of historical elements (azulejos/tiles/baseboards) and the integrated new part.
