in the RIA FORMOSA Natural Park, right in front of the SEA and right in front of FUSETA!

 

Quinta Sal do Mundo is located on a 4000 square meter plot with around 120 fruit trees, an old well, several terraces, and sunny and shady areas. A small permaculture garden provides fresh vegetables and our holiday guests are welcome to enjoy the garden. And, if you want, you can also help with gardening or you can pick fruits.

 

The Quinta has 2 separate residential units. The rent is a 4-room apartment (south facing/approx. 80 sqm) on the ground floor, with 2 bedrooms and an office. The office could also be used as an “improvised 3rd bedroom/children's room”. In 2022 the house was completely renovated and newly furnished with comfortable beds and mattresses, a beautiful kitchen, and an even more beautiful bathroom. The house is well insulated, well ventilated, and has high, bright rooms. A wood stove is also available for the winter. In addition, the terrace is quite spacious at over 60 square meters. There are other “relaxation zones” on the Quinta and you can move around freely. The Quinta is located directly in nature and can be reached via 2 access routes (south and north entrance).

You don't necessarily need a car here either. Because from the Fuzeta-Moncarapacho train station, it is only 1 km to the Quinta. You can reach Fuseta in 5 minutes by bike. And it's a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. Or 10 minutes to the “White Ria” in Arroteia. From there you can reach various beaches at low tide. This area is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the Algarve. We always recommend Maximilian Xavier's YouTube videos.

 

The garden of Quinta Sal do Mundo: We have over 120 fruit trees in our gardens. An incredible mix of fruits has been created that bears fruit practically all year round. From orange trees, lemon trees, tangerines, peaches, passion fruits, pomegranates, walnuts, almonds, olives, figs, apples, and pears, and much more grow on a total of around 4000 square meters of garden space. Of course, there are also various herbs and vegetables. We started this idea from scratch, made a lot of friends, received a lot of help, learned a lot - and now this little paradise exists.

 

Our holiday guests are welcome to help themselves and (if interested and willing) to take part in gardening activities. There is also a small swimming pond - with another relaxation and terrace area under old trees. The pond is not operational at all times of the year. Please ask about this option if it is important to you. But... as I said... the much more beautiful sea is right on the doorstep. By the way, Fuseta also has a beautiful city beach, the “Borda de Agua”. Also just a few minutes from the house.
